No regrets over Trump ‘bum’ tweet – LeBron

LeBron James stated Monday he didn’t remorseful about branding President Donald Trump a “bum”, accusing the USA chief of dividing the country in his feud with the sports activities international.

NBA superstar James had taken intention at Trump on Twitter on Saturday after the president withdrew a White House invitation to the champion Golden State Warriors and superstar participant Stephen Curry.

“U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain’t going! So therefore ain’t no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!” James wrote.

Asked if he regretted his selection of phrases on Monday, the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar gave a blunt reaction: “No.”

In a press convention on the Cavaliers’ pre-season media day, James again and again referred to Trump as “that guy”, pronouncing he had did not carry the rustic in combination.

“He doesn’t know the way many children, regardless of the race, glance as much as the President of the United States for steering, for management, for phrases of encouragement.

“He doesn’t understand that. That’s what makes me more sick than anything,” added James, insisting that Trump had misunderstood the character of the NFL protests, which have been introduced through former San Francisco 49ers quarterback to attract consideration to racial injustice.

“It’s not about disrespect for the flag and military and people who served,” he stated.

“It’s about equality and having the option and freedom to speak about things they feel are unjust.”
