Theresa May said London’s Uber ban was ‘disproportionate’

Prime minister Theresa May described Transport for London’s
refusal to grant Uber a brand new operator’s licence ultimate week as
“disproportionate”, escalating the political confrontation between
Labour and the Conservatives over the USA ride-hailing corporate.

May blamed London mayor Sadiq Khan for the verdict, telling the
BBC:
